GIMS Greater NOIDA increases 100 additional beds for COVID-19 patients

Greater NOIDA (May 9, 2021) Amid a rapid surge in COVID 19 cases, Govt Institute of Medical Sciences(GIMS), Greater Noida is planning to increase its total bed capacity of 250 beds to 350 beds to further improve the delivery of effective health care to the needy COVID patients in Gautam buddha Nagar.

This great venture has been initiated under the aegis of CEO of GNIDA, Shri Narendra Bhooshan Ji, in association with the HCL Foundation and “Doctors for you” organization. For smooth functioning of the hospital, HCL foundation has provided necessary equipments and logistics for increasing the beds capacity and Doctors for you have provided additional health professional team comprising of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff who would work round the clock to provide patient care.

The inauguration ceremony of the “ Increase of 100 beds” will be held on will be held on 10th May 2021 at 10:30 AM . The Chief guest will be Shri Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Medical Education. Shri Narendra Bhooshan ji, CEO, Greater Noida, Dr Rajat Jain President Doctors for you and Dr Nidhi Pundir, Director CSR HCL Foundation will be present during the occasion. Dr.(Brig) Rakesh Gupta, Director, GIMS has taken this initiative to improve the care of Covid 19 patients. GIMS is also planning to increase 100 more beds in near future to take the total bed strength to 450, exclusively for Covid patients
