Glamour & Celebrities were the attraction of people during the grand finale of this pageant Mr. & Miss India 2016, Dellywood at Hotel Crowne Plaza Rohini. Organised by Dellywood, the evening had a 3 round ramp-walk by 60 aspiring models, followed by the unveiling of the latest collection Elation by designer Priti Singhal.

Mr. & Miss India 2016, Dellywood – “Unveil The Artistry In You And Be A Brand”, is a pageant with a fantastic opportunity for all aspirants to live their dream of winning a title and taking the first step for being recognized as a brand. With auditions in more than 38 cities from metro tier-II cities, the pool of 150 very talented participants was selected out of which final 60 participated for the finale, where Paramveer Singh Cheema & Kanchan Vishwarma were crowned Mr. & Miss India 2016, Dellywood. The show was choreographed by Babla Kathuria, who did a fantastic job.

The grand finale was judged by celebrities judges from Bollywood; those included in the jury were; Pehlaj Nihalani (Film Producer), Madhur Bhandarkar (Director), Vishal Pandya (Director), Zareen Khan (Actress), Kashish Khan (Producer), Yash Ahlawat (Film Producer) & Vinod Ahlawat (Director Dellywood). Apart from them Designer Priti Singhal, actress Hrishita Bhatt, Priya Malik (Big Boss & Big Brother fame), Mink Brar (Actress), Natalia (Miss Russia), Priyaankka Khatri (Model & Actress), Kanchan (Actress) amongst others were also spotted at the event.

With Dellywood, we aim to create a new hub for film and fashion industry as well as to successfully provide an integrated platform for the new and aspiring Indian models to make their dream of modeling, theatre, television, and films come true, said Vinod Ahlawat.

Being all the participants are new entrants in the fashion industry, hence, we at Dellywood, are also giving them the first-hand knowledge of grooming, public speaking, etiquettes, skin & dental care, fashion and style, wellness and ramp walk sessions. We are also getting the basic portfolio done for all the participants for them to use it for future. We are here to spread this message of “Humanity & Crime Free World” with this event, he added.

Zareen Khan said, it’s a great platform for all the aspiring models, who want to make it big in the industry, many of these have a good talent and potential, I just wish they got many such opportunities to nourish their skills to make a name in the industry.

Madhur Bhandarkar applauded the efforts of Vinod Ahlawat and his team for organising the pageant. We need aspiring youngsters who really want to do big in life and these platforms are the first step to showcasing their skills and try grabbing these opportunities to prove themselves, he said.
