GLBIMR organized a Mega Alumni Meet 2016~DejaVU on September 17, 2016, Saturday under the guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General , GLBIMR ,where Ashish Patel , Director, Morgan Franklin Consulting, McLean, VA, USA was invited as Chief Guest and Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Group graced the occasion asGuest of Honour. This event witnessed more than 250 alumni from diverse organization and the “Eminent Alumni Award“was also conferred to 30 alumni for their outstanding professional achievements and for bringing honour to GLBIMR.Mr. Pankaj Agarwal welcomed the alumni and urged them to strengthen the bond between the Institute and Alumni. He also shared his vision for the institute for the upcoming years. Dr. Urvashi Makkar addressed the gathering & even shared few memories of her Alumni meet with the students. She said that Alumni Meet marks the canonization of accomplished alumni whose lifetime contributions exemplify GLBIMR’s excellence. Mr. Ashish Patel spoke about the challenges of rapidly changing workplace scenarios and how continuous learning helps in facing them.The event also witnessed cultural performances including dance and music by the students of the institute which made the alumni nostalgic. An exclusive dance performance by Rajasthani Folk Dance troop added extra spirit in the evening and charmed everyone with their vibrant & energetic performance. The meet was a grand success and was attended by alumni working at esteemed positions in various reputed organizations and some of them running their own startups.
