Global Naga Mass Rally held in National Capital for Immediate Indo-Naga Political Solution

New Delhi: On February 23, thousands of Nagas hold a peaceful protest in New Delhi for immediate INDO-NAGA political solution, the people marched from Mandi House to Parliament Street in a hope that thier actions will soon materialise their demands.




Demonstrating a peaceful protest, the people marched to the Parliament Street with songs and slogans to demand Modi-led government “Where is the promised solution?”

According to the protesters, the Nagas are at the threshold of achieving a political system of their own through the ongoing Indo-Naga talks, but India won’t hesitate to derail the final solution, as post independent Indian history is our witness. Nagas have been betrayed at many instances, including: 16 point Agreement, Shillong Accord etc.”

They also claimed that over the several decades, Indian National Congress ruled India, and with false promises to solve the Indo-Naga political problem, they managed to gain the support of Nagas, even forming governments on several occasions.

People stated the pain and anguish felt by the Naga people, especially the younger generation who are thrown in the wilderness of the protracted political conflict of over seventy years without any glimpse of redemption in the status quo, has evoked an urgent sense to come together and demand for “Immediate Political Solution” which is “Honourable and Acceptable”.
