GNIDA takes inspiration from PM Modi, announces T-20 India-Afghanistan Divyaang Friendship Cup.

While addressing the 15th edition of the Mann ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested the nation to address the persons with disabilities as divyaang, meaning divine body, saying they are endowed with extraordinary power in certain other ways and carrying forward this vision of PM Modi, Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI) has announced three T-20 matches series, India-Afghanistan Divyaang Friendship Cup between India and Afghanistan from May 22 to May24 at Greater Noida.
The matches would be the first series after the PCCAI has announced its first Cricket Contract Policy and would gather some eminent personalities from Cricket world including Lal Chand Rajput and many more, told Rajeev Tyagi, GM (Project), GNIDA.
He further said that, all the preparations have been done and would cater a healthy environment to all the players for betterment Cricket.
Speaking on the tournament highlights, Ravi Chouhan, Secretary General, PCCAI, said that, Harbhajan Singh has contributed a lot to this tournament, by providing us coloured jerseys and we are making efforts to include Kapil Dev as our chief guest for this tournament.
The event would be a day night affair and would have spiritual talks by brand ambassador of the series, Aushim Khetrapal before the event.
