GNIOT celebrates its 21st Foundation Day, Education minister lauds contribution of the institute in education sector

Gr Noida :  On Thursday, Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) celebrated its 21st foundation day to mark the birth anniversary of the founder of GNIOT, late Krishna Lal Gupta. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Education Minister, Government of India, was the Chief Guest for the celebrations. The event was also graced by Dr Anil Jain, Hon’ble Member (Rajya Sabha). Other eminent personalities like Shri Mahendra Kumar (National in-charge, Higher Education, All India National Educational Federation), Dr. M.P Poonia, Vice-chairman(AICTE, Delhi), Dr. Nitin Kumar Agarwal (CMD, Bliss Pharmacy) also graced the occasion .

 

 

The program was inaugurated by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr Anil Jain, Member Rajya Sabha and Shri Mahendra Kumar National in-charge, Higher Education, All India National Educational Federation, Dr. Vishwas Tripathi Registrar- Gautam Budha University and Dr. Nitin Kumar Agarwal.

 

Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, while congratulating everyone on the birth Anniversary of Late Shri Krishna Lal Gupta not only appreciated his role for managing several educational institutes but also praised his foresightedness for the growth and development of society. He also talked about the New Education policy and how it’s going to change the Indian education system. Further, he listed the works getting done under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan which is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development.”

 

Various cultural programs were organized by different institutes of GNIOT Group, namely, GNIOT Engineering Institute, M.B.A Institute, Institute of Professional Studies and Institute of Management Studies. Students from Greater Noida World School offered their wonderful performances. Madhava’s Sankirtan Band presented several dance performances and mesmerized the audience by singing spiritual songs.

 

The event also witnessed the recognition and awards to more than 250 teachers, students and employees of the institute for their outstanding contribution and efforts. Students were awarded for their performance in academics, social, cultural, discipline, photography, sports and other areas.

The Chairman of the institute, Rajesh Gupta, expressed his gratitude to Late Shri Krishna Lal Gupta and appreciated the contribution of all the teachers, staff, students and everyone associated with GNIOT. He also expressed his gratitude and thanked the guests for their presence and conveyed his best wishes to the students for their bright future.
