New Delhi, 17th March: Addressing Six Sigma Leadership Summit and Excellence Awards on Wednesday, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that Six Sigma is giving full support in the upliftment of health facilities in the country, due to which people living in remote areas are getting medical services. He said that today the number of hospitals from medical colleges is increasing. Referring to the self-reliant India started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Minister said that today 10 lakh PPE kits are being manufactured daily in the country. The Sports Minister appreciated the work done by Six Sigma during the Corona period and assured the institution of all possible help from the government.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, who arrived at the award ceremony, while addressing in his quirky style, said that today society needs an institution like Six Sigma which will take the youth to new paths as well as make them self-reliant.
