Greater Noida authority has now started taking action against those industrial plot allotment beneficiaries who had taken land from authority but haven’t started construction yet or do not have functional units at the place, in violation with norms of authority. Greater Noida authority also plans to intensify action over the major debtors for the recovery of pending dues.

Taking a strong action in the direction, on Friday authority cancelled seven plot allotments that were given for setting up BPO’s in the region. As many years have already passed since allotment and no any further development was done on the given piece of land so finally authority had to take this decision to cancel the allotment. As per sources, in previous government many such allotments were done so that the region will have a speedy development and employment opportunities can be generated for the local population.

But the land owners misused the provided land by keeping the plot occupied but not having a functional unit at the place. They also did not deposit the EMI to the authority on time. Now authority had prepared a list of such land holders and is planning to cancel their allotment. So that the land will become available for the investors who are willing to setup their units at these places at the earliest.

This is one of the many steps being taken by Authority to revamp its working and reinvent its financial stature.
