Greater Noida Authority to recover 38 crore from Omaxe Construction Ltd
The Greater Noida Authority on Friday has issued a recovery certificate of Rs 38 crore against Omaxe Construction Ltd, a real estate firm, for its past dues.
In a meeting held on Friday, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Greater Noida Authority Narendra Bhushan directed the officials of commercial and economic departments to issue a recovery notice to all the builders who are yet to pay their dues.
The CEO has directed officials to launch a drive and prepare a plan to recover dues of land, fine imposed against sectors and dues of lease rent.
Meanwhile, the authority has also recommended Greater Noida bench of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) for de-registration of as many as 14 projects of different builders. “RC has been issued against Omaxe Construction Ltd and others who own land dues to the authority,” Bhushan said.
