Greater Noida: Security guard accidentally kills self, police starts probe

Greater Noida: A 52-year-old security guard of a high rise building in Bisrakh village of Greater Noida died after a bullet misfired from his own single-barrel rifle. The incident took place on Monday night, told police.

As per the reports, the guard was on his duty and was standing at the entry gate on the eve of the incident, somehow he lost his balance and fell on his rifle which triggered the weapon, making him badly injured. He was taken to hospital but he succumbed to injuries. He was later identified as Madanpal Singh, a native of Bareilly district.

“A police team and forensic experts had reached the spot to examine the situation and further legal proceedings are being carried out in the case,” said a senior police officer.
