Greater Noida: Woman dies gasping for oxygen outside government hospital

While the administration and those at the helm of affairs, repeatedly claim – with unmatched confidence that reeks of ignorance and apathy – that there is no dearth of oxygen or beds in Uttar Pradesh, the ground reality is extremely different.

Becoming another victim of the government apathy, a woman on Friday succumbed in her car, while waiting for oxygen outside one of the largest government hospitals in UP.

The woman was brought to the hospital by her relatives and was experiencing breathlessness. However, despite repeated pleas, the hospital authorities did not admit her or provide any oxygen.

She was on her own oxygen support and was lying in the car when her condition deteriorated and she died. A video of her last moments, has since gone viral on social media with people from different walks of life questioning the government.
