Greater Noida’s Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium to Witness Grand Yoga Event on International Day of Yoga

On this International Yoga day on 21st June Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex will be witnessing a grand yoga event in presence of around 3 thousand people.

Union Minister for Rail and Coal Piyush Goyal will also become part of the celebrations as Chief Guest while Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh will be seen in the role coordinator. Sport complex will be witnessing such a grand event on yoga day for the first time. Preparations for the event is in the last stage and for making event successful and memorable officers and staffs of the sports complex are working hard. Different social organizations have also been taken into loop for the success of International Yoga Day celebrations.

About 3 thousand people are expected to be present at the event. Arrangements are in place for 1500 people to perform yoga whereas about 1500 people can be there to witness the event. Entry will start at 6:30 in the morning and will be on first come first basis. Participants won’t need to carry anything with them as yoga mats and a t- shirts of international yoga day will be provided to them. After the event refreshments will also be made available.

Bramakumari Raaj Yoga will also be included in the event where mediation will be performed and the advantages of the same will be explained to the public. Patanjali Yoga trainer will also demonstrate the asanas to the yoga practitioners.

In a separate order DM Gautam Buddha Nagar has also ordered students from the district to be present at the yoga event. Entry will be restricted to three thousand participants because of security reasons.

Many representatives from different social organizations were present during today’s meeting including Manjeet Singh, Manoj Garg, Harinder Bhati, Rampal, Sumita Vaidya , Rupa Gupta, Alok Singh, Om Raizada , Rahul Numberdaar, Alok Jha and others.
