New Delhi, 15th April: Grehlakshmi, a women’s magazine in India recently organised Mrs India 2022. It is one of the biggest prestigious pageant for housewives. Grehlakshmi aims to give a platform to the homemakers and women to groom their personality and show their grit and talent, said the organisers of the pageant.
Beginning with 100 shortlisted applications, 50 contestants were chosen after the live interviews. The finale of the Mrs India Contest is scheduled to be held on 15th April 2022. The subtitle-crowning ceremony was organised in Eros Hotel, New Delhi where every contestant was given the title for the special quality they possessed. Titles like Mrs Elegant, Mrs Versatile, Mrs Photogenic, Mrs Confident, Mrs Stylish and so on.
The subtitle-crowning ceremony was graced by the presence of the famous jury members including Actor Riya Sharma, Model Sonalika Sahay, Fashion Designer Samant Chauhan, Harpreet Suri among others.
“It just touched my heart that in this competition there was a diversity among women who participated. They were of different sizes, complexion, height and so on. They were rewarded with something and were made to feel good about something, their colour, smile, weight, body hair,” said actor Riya Sharma.
