Greater Noida (07/03/2019) : Gautam Budh Nagar is all geared up for the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology Inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the district on March 9th. This National Museum is been established with the aim of preserving and enriching the heritage of Indian culture and it will be incomparable and amazing in terms of the archaeological museums of India.



Once the Museum will be inaugurated, District Gautam Budh Nagar will become the part of the very prestigious UNESCO 2nd class cities around the world. This will become possible as museums run by Archeological Survey of India in Lāl Qila and Mehrauli area of Delhi will be shifted to this newly inaugurated National museum in Greater Noida.

For now, last-minute preparations are going on in the premises while DM and SSP also conducted a meeting along with various district administration officials to review the preparations and security arrangements. Around 11 am officials from PMO and a team of SPG visited the museum premises and ordered to cordon the premises and restricted the entry of any unauthorized person.

While authority sanitation workers were also seen cleaning the bushes, Garbage and dust along the roadside. PM will be reaching Greater Noida by 11. He will also be inaugurating the statue of Deendayal Upadhyaya laid in the front of the main building of the museum.

This national level museum is spread in a total of 25-acre area out of which 14.5 will be green area costing it to a total of 289 cores. The total in- built area of 15 thousand sq feet will be the home to the many antique things with a very enrich historical value. Museum also has an auditorium with a sitting capacity of 1000 people and one of its kinds in Uttar Pradesh. The auditorium will have two storey green rooms that will provide the flexibility to host two programs simultaneously.
