Guest Lecture by Mr. Prem Phulara on Career Prospects in Testing

Greater Noida, Friday 11 November, 2016: I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized a Guest Lecture on “Career Prospects in Testing” by Mr. Prem Phulara.The opening of program was made by welcoming Mr. Prem Phulara with a bouquet of flowers by Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. Mr. Phulke has rich experience as a Technologist, Speaker and Trainer and is currently working as AVP Engineering & Global BU Head-Testing, Saksoft, Noida.The talk was initiated by Honorable guest Mr.Prem Phulara explaining in detail about need of Software Testing. Being into the area of Testing, he cited various issues and challenges in testing which must be taken care of while designing of test cases and can help in quality Software product development. This was followed by elaborated discussion about on types of testing and various Tools used for testing.He took examples of numerous web based companies like flipkart.Finally, he emphasized on the need of learning various Testing Tools. He elaborated on Various IT and Non IT Skills students should possess to get Jobs in testing field in IT Industry. In the talk, he told about various Career options and new technologies and emphasized on the need of learning various recent Tools /skills for software quality assurance according to need of industry. In the lecture,Mr. Phulara guided and motivated the students by sharing his experiences with the students. The B.Tech. selected students of 2 nd , 3 rd and final year of CSE branch of I.T.S Engineering College attended the lecture. It was very prestigious for ITS Engineering College to have such Dignified and very Humble Knowledgeable Gentleman and to grasp his views and technical knowledge. Finally, Mr. Sachin Goel, Assistant Professor of CSE department, I.T.S Engineering College gave a Vote of Thanks Speech and Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College gave Token of Appreciation to Mr. Prem Phulara.
