New Delhi, July 4, 2022: On June 28, 2022, the Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts organized its 23rd Handicrafts Export Awards in New Delhi. Transparent Overseas won the Certificate of Merit 2017-2018.
In conversation with Ten News, Shrey Bansal, Transparent Overseas said, “We dedicate it to our whole team and family,” they stated. “It is a labor-intensive sector,” they said regarding the main challenge in the handicrafts industry.
“Everything is made by hand. When things are made from machines it’s different. When things are made from hands it’s different. So, handicraft is a challenging sector.” They also stated that the wages and raw material prices are going up day by day.
“EPCH has been a great platform. They support us in every way they can. They give us opportunities, like fairs and other things,” they said. “Every exporter should reach for this award,” they said as a message to their fellow exporters. “Because everyone can reach a good volume of business when they come here.” Everyone can reach a good volume of business when they come here.”
