New Delhi, July 4, 2022: On June 28, 2022, the Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts organized its 23rd Handicrafts Export Awards in New Delhi. Parimal Mandir won the Certificate of Merit for Excellent Export Growth 2018-2019.
In conversation with Ten News, S. G. Vijay, Parimal Mandir said, “It’s always an encouragement to receive this award year after year. We always dedicate it to the team who are relentlessly working behind the scenes, so this award belongs to them.”
“The opportunities are very big,” he stated. “The markets are huge and we have a very proactive government here in Delhi, which is supporting and encouraging us in various aspects and that is a big booster.”
“The EPCH has been doing incredible and amazing work to develop handicrafts across the country,” he said. “They provide infrastructure to develop, they hear our problems, they develop various industries to the government to solve the problems there, so, they have been very proactive.”
“All fellow exporters are a great encouragement and we don’t see them as a competition, rather we take it as an inspiration and follow them and we also encourage newcomers,” he stated as a message for his fellow exporters.
