Haryana Deputy CM, Punjab Health Minister test positive for Covid-19

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday said that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Punjab’s Health Minister Balbir Sidhu has also tested positive for the virus earlier today.

The virus has been affecting lot many people lately and there seem to be no respite from it in sight.

In the last 24 hours, India has
reported a spike of 61,267 new Covid-19 cases and 884 deaths.

Total case tally stands at 66,85,083 including 9,19,023 active cases, 56,62,491 cured, discharged and migrated cases & 1,03,569 deaths, said Union Health Ministry.

In a related news, as many as
104 police personnel tested positive for #COVID19 in the last 24 hours and 2 died, taking total positive cases to 24,254 in the force, including 21,423 recoveries, 2,578 active cases, and 253 deaths.
