Hospitality Industry is growing and people are willing to spend more: Warwick Fabrics | IHE 2022

Greater Noida, July 12, 2022: As the 5th Edition India International Hospitality Expo, 2022 (IHE 2022) draws closer, the Ten News Network had the opportunity to interact with Warwick Fabrics. The company is a wholesale supplier of high-performance fabrics from Australia. Mr. Matt Gillian, the International Sales Director of the company talked about the opportunities in the hospitality sector.

“People have definitely changed their patterns after Covid. They want to escape after being in lockdown, people are just wanting to get away, but they want to have a more relaxed experience. So in the hospitality sector, I think, there is going to be more growth. You are going to see more homestays and bed and breakfast kind of opportunities. People are just going to want the warmth and comfort of the fabrics, I see that as an opportunity moving forward,” he said positively.

He also talked about the new trends and technologies in the fabric industry. “There is more advancement in fabrications. You are getting soft touch and beautiful hand woven feel with high performance, and people are after performance in the hospitality industry,” he explained.

“It’s very much about the fiber and the technology, so these fabrics last a very long time.”
“I am very excited,” he said regarding IHE, 2022. “We came very strongly in the Indian Market about ten years ago, it’s been a wonderful experience. India is known around the world for its service.”

The company’s South Asia Sales-Director, Mohit Agarwal, also interacted with Ten News. He talked about the challenges in the hospitality sector, “It is so erratic,” he said because of the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. “Otherwise I don’t see any challenges in terms of moving towards the hospitality sector.

Mr. Agarwal also touched upon the subject of trends and technologies in the hospitality industry. “People are more health conscious. So, its something which can be probably offered by the hospitality sector,” he stated.

“We have got very high expectations,” he said regarding IHE 2022. “Now as the hospitality industry is reviving and the foreign travels has begun, the hospitality companies have started re-doing their hotels so it is a big opportunity for us.”

The 5th Edition India International Hospitality Expo, 2022, is being held from August 3, 2022, to August 6, 2022, at India Expo Centre and Mart. The expo will bring all the top stakeholders of the industry under a single roof and it will host several events such as conferences, panel discussions, workshops, master classes by some of the top chefs in the country, and a young culinary challenge hosted by the Indian Culinary Forum.
