New Delhi: On March 15, Hospitality Purchasing Manager’s Forum (HPMF) organised a conference in New Delhi.
The conference named Udaan 2 which took place at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, the conference observe the presence of some prominent speakers including Padam Shri Dr Rajni Kant, Rishi Raj Sethi, Major Aval Sethi.
The conference was also attended by Chefs and General Mangers.
A short video was also shown at the conference as a dedication towards Indian defense forces, which was created during the 8th anniversary of HPMF, in which 8 Indian Defense Forces Soldiers who have taken part in some of the other wars and after the retirement they are involved in some social cause.
The forum was established in 2010, till date the forum has more than 2600 members in more than 40 countries, not just India but UAE, Middle East and Sri Lanka, these are the established chapters, very soon HPMF will be opening chapters in Europe and some parts of America.
Padma Shri Dr. Rajni Kant demonstrated a presentation on “How Can Do To Promote Procurement Of Arts and Crafts In Hospitality Industry?”
Padma Shri Dr. Rajni Kant spread light on his social welfare journey at the conference said, “more than 1.25 Lakh children has mainstream education and nearly five thousand women associate with us, through the self help groups we have taken the initiate of self help groups, these groups generally include group of 15-20 women, these women opened own bank accounts. A money saving program was introduced to free women from money lenders and now their corpus is more than 7.5 crore”.
