“I am known as an honest and hardworking leader, People will again choose me”: Meenakshi Lekhi

New Delhi, (1/5/2019): People of Delhi will vote for seven Lok Sabha seats on May 12 and elect their leaders for the development of the city and send them to Parliament.
Today, Meenakshi Lekhi, BJP candidate for New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency held a road show and a public meet in Naraina Village in Delhi.
Ten News team held a special dialogue with BJP candidate Meenakshi Lekhi of New Delhi Lok Sabha seat.
On the question of what she thinks is the biggest issue in country, Meenakshi Lekhi said, “Poverty is the biggest problem. Development of everyone should be the basis of the politics of any country and this is our government’s attempt”.
When she was asked about what is the biggest problem of New Delhi and what will be her attempts in resolving that issue, she said “That the biggest problem is the lack of water. There is no bigger problem than this. If you look for priority, then there is a problem of garbage disposal and pollution too. The problem of electricity was also there, but we have done a lot of work to improve it. So we have done a lot of work before and there are so many topics on which I want to work in the future too”.
When asked about her competitors on the New Delhi seat she said, “I am known for my work in the field. People know me as a leader whose identity has been working with a clean image, honesty and hard work, and I think people will choose me this time too”.
