I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida celebrated Hostel Day

I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida celebrated Hostel Day on Friday, 30th September, 2016.The event was inaugurated by invocation to Goddess Saraswati and lamp lighting done by Dr. Puneet Ahuja (Principal).  He declared the event open and said that this event is held every year to provide a more homely atmosphere to the hostel residents at I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida. Faculty members and students had a gala evening and many events were organized. Stalls were put up by the students and different games had been organized like maintain balance, dart game, ball in net, lucky draw etc. Stage performance were done by undergraduate students and Post Graduate students which included dance performances, mad ads, skit, solo singing, instrumental music and a scintillating performance by the College Band –PULSE.The major attraction of event was the Fashion show by students comingfrom more than 27 states of India who showcased their traditional attire in beautifully choreographed rampwalk. The performance represented the true colors of India and gave the message of “Unity in Diversity”. This was followed by a DJ night where all the students joined together for dance on foot-tapping music. The function ended with a sumptuous dinner which was enjoyed by all students, faculty and staff members.This activity has been made as a part of annual celebration by the group. It promotes harmony among the students residing in hostels and gives everyone a feeling of a unified family that is called as ITS – Parvaar. It was a wonderful evening and all the students and faculty members enjoyed the event and made new memories.
