Greater Noida: I.T.S Engineering College, Gr. Noida, is conducting a 35 days Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program on ‘Internet of Things (IOT)’from 26th Dec to 3 Feb 2020. The program is fully sponsored by DST – NIMAT. This program creates an awareness of the need and importance of entrepreneurship based upon latest technology on ‘Internet of Things’.
The inaugural session was started with lightening of lamp, followed by the inaugural address by the Chief Guest Dr. S.P. Mishra, Advisor-ITS Groups, Dr. Gagan Deep Arora, Dean Academics On this occasion Dr. S.P. Mishra, motivated young enthusiastic minds coming from different organizations. Dr. Arora also told the students about the facilities provided by ITS in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. The TEDP is aimed to train young technologically graduate students with an entrepreneurial and professional mindset so that they may become future job providers instead of job seekers.
The Chief Guests started the session with highlighting that India is witnessing an upsurge of technology-driven and Knowledge- based enterprise. Whether it is the field of conventional business or any other modern business a sudden spurt in the number of new ventures or start-ups have taken the country by surprise. He also explained that Technology and Innovation are playing a major role in this process business. After this, a brief question answer session with the students was conducted to know about their ideas, views and perception about entrepreneurship.
In the following session, Dr. S.P Mishra explained the need for entrepreneurship and highlighted how the entrepreneurial system has evolved in recent times. He talked about various career options after graduation. Prof. Mishra also motivated the students to take maximum benefit of the growing nation by venturing in to entrepreneurship. One of the most important thing is that an Entrepreneurship has very little to do with money. It is instead an attitude, a way of thinking.
