IAS officer Suhas L Y appointed as new District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar

IAS officer Suhas L Y appointed as new District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar. He has previously served as the district magistrate of Prayagraj.

Suhas, a young and dynamic IAS officer also known for his out of box innovations to deal with problems will be replacing BN Singh.

Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj is an Indian professional Para-Badminton player currently ranked world No.2 in Men’s Singles and an IAS officer of 2007 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

BN Singh, who served on the post for a long period of 3 years has taken a sabbatical for three months following a stern warning by UP CM Yogi Adityanath during a Covid-19 review meeting earlier today.
