IBA, GNIDA & Police Partner Drive Women Empowerment and Labour Law Awareness | Mission Shakti 5.0

Greater Noida News (10/01/2026): In a strong demonstration of “Nari Suraksha, Nari Samman aur Nari Swavalamban”, Industrial Business Association ( IBA) organised a high-impact awareness programme on Mission Shakti 5.0 and labour welfare laws at Aarya Fashions in Ecotech-3, Greater Noida. The programme was held under the joint aegis of the Industrial Business Association (IBA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), with active participation from the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate , the Labour and other line Departments of Govt of U.P.

The initiative aligned with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, focusing on women empowerment, workplace safety, dignity of women workers, and legal awareness related to the Factory Act and Shop Act.

Addressing the gathering, Sumit Yadav, IAS appreciated Aarya Fashions and IBA for taking proactive steps to spread awareness about women-centric policies and statutory compliance. He emphasized that such programmes help create safer, disciplined and more productive industrial environments.

Manisha Singh, IPS , ADDL DCP highlighted the core objectives of Mission Shakti 5.0, stressing that women safety requires continuous awareness, prompt reporting, and cooperation between industries, police and administration. She urged women workers to come forward and use government-supported safety mechanisms without fear.

Amit Upadhyay, President, Industrial Business Association, along with Sunil Dutt Sharma, General Secretary, reiterated IBA’s commitment to supporting awareness initiatives that strengthen ethical, lawful and socially responsible industrial practices in Greater Noida.

Dr. Khushboo Singh, Central & State Awardee, CEO & Founder of Aarya Fashions and Vice President, IBA, who described the initiative as a practical model of women-led leadership and inclusive industrial growth. She said Mission Shakti is not just a government programme but a social responsibility that industries must adopt at the grassroots level.

Senior officials graced the event, including Anshul Tiwari, Assistant Director, Factory Act. Special Guest Archana Dwivedi, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Noida Central), and Rajiv Kumar Gupta from the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate. Their presence strengthened the message of inter-departmental coordination for women safety and labour welfare.

Other prominent attendees included Rakesh Dwivedi, Brijesh Kumar Singh, Anshul Tiwari, Siddharth Gautam, Arun Trivedi, Alok Yadav, Sandeep Kumar Vishwakarma, Manu Kaushik, Rashmi Singh and Alok Srivastava, whose collective presence reflected wide industry participation and strong institutional support

Anshul Tiwari explained key provisions of the Factory Act and Shop Act, clearly outlining employer responsibilities, worker rights, registration requirements and compliance norms. He noted that legal awareness directly contributes to industrial harmony and sustainable growth.

The programme witnessed participation from several IBA office-bearers and industry representatives, from JK Industries making it a collective effort of the industrial community. Participants lauded the initiative for effectively combining women empowerment, labour rights awareness and administrative guidance on a single platform.

The event concluded with a clear message: Mission Shakti 5.0 is a shared mission, and Aarya Fashions’ initiative stands as a strong example of how industry can actively contribute to women empowerment, legal compliance and social transformation.
