Indian Exhibition Industry Association organized 9th edition of open seminar on the theme of “CATALYSING INDIA’S ECONOMIC GROWTH”

Greater Noida (15/06/2019) : On the theme of “CATALYSING INDIA’S ECONOMIC GROWTH,” Indian Exhibition Industry Association organized the 9th edition of 3-day Open Seminar 2019 at India Expo Mart Limited, Greater Noida. The three-day seminar began on 13th June and Concluded on June 15th.

The seminar was attended by 700 delegates from more than 28 countries across the globe. The first day of the seminar was dedicated to the various meetings other activities like Golf tournament and Yoga. The second-day program began traditionally by light lamping and dance performance of Ganesh Vandana which is highly appreciated by the foreign delegates.



After that, the inaugural session of the seminar began with Welcome Note & Seminar outline by Bhupinder Singh Secretary, IEIA. In his address, he thanked everyone for their presence as this signifies the importance of this platform.

Rakesh Kumar, Chairman IEML Welcoming Delegates said “I would like to thank IEIA for using IEML as the venue for this seminar. The Indian exhibition industry is going as like Indian economy and we should work over to create venue as per the environment and global sustainability standards. I am glad to share that some of the venues are working towards United Nations sustainable goals. It’s not important to call a venue as a green venue just because it has a green certificate but it should be measured on the carbon emission done by the venue”

Chief Guest for the event Dr. Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce during his speech said “the happening part for me is that this exhibition industry is an organized, very serious and extensive business in India. A total of 32 thousand events happened all around the world of this nature which is certainly a very good beginning but we need to pace up the speed”

While company president Interacting with Ten News told that “It’s been a great journey for us we have started a small company and now people from 28 countries are attending our event that signifies the growth Indian exhibition industry has seen. I hope in the next five year we will be double what we are now today.”

In evening Indian Exhibition Industry Award ceremony got organized while the third day of the event remained dedicated to Panel discussion of the various trending topics.
