Greater Noida News (18 February 2026): The 61st edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 is underway from February 14 to 18 at the state-of-the-art India Expo Centre & Mart, bringing together more than 3,000 exhibitors across 17 dedicated halls. Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the fair showcases a wide spectrum of products, including home furnishings, furniture, fashion jewellery, eco-friendly goods, and lifestyle items.

Speaking to Ten News Network, S. Subramani, Managing Director of High Power Textiles, said his company is presenting an extensive range of design-based textile products at the fair. These include beach towels, outdoor and decorative pillows, shower curtains, table linens, kitchenware, velvet products, and intricately crafted table cloths.

Subramani highlighted that the core strength of his offerings lies in their exclusivity. All products are manufactured strictly according to registered designs provided by clients based on their samples. As a result, these designs cannot be offered or sold to any other buyers, he said.

Commenting on international participation, Subramani noted that overseas buyer turnout has been relatively subdued this year. He attributed this to the conclusion of major global trade fairs such as Ambiente and Heimtextil just two days prior to IHGF. However, he expressed optimism about future business prospects, citing expectations of increased buyer interest following the proposed Europe Free Trade Agreement and a possible reduction of tariffs for US buyers by around 25 percent. He added that business momentum is likely to improve by October once related formalities are completed.

On the role of EPCH, Subramani suggested that scheduling the fair in April could enhance its effectiveness. If the IHGF is held after Ambiente and Heimtextil, buyers could visit India continuously, which would significantly boost participation and business opportunities for exporters, he said.

Reflecting on the venue, Subramani shared that his company has been participating at India Expo Centre & Mart since 2007. He praised the infrastructure and facilities provided, describing them as well-developed and exporter-friendly, while reiterating that adjusting the event’s timing would further benefit the industry.

The IHGF Delhi Fair continues to serve as a key global sourcing platform, reinforcing India’s position in the international handicrafts and home textiles market.
