#IIMAhmedabad Placement concludes, read full report

IIM Ahmedabad has concluded the final placement process for PGP 2015-17 batch in three clusters.  The process commenced on February 13 and concluded on February 19, 2017. The clusters were further divided into several cohorts which include McKinsey & Company and EXL with 15 and six offers respectively. The top recruiters included Accenture Strategy, A. T. Kearney, Bain & Co., Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey & Company, Oliver Wyman and others.  This year, the first cluster consisted of three cohorts – investment banking and markets; management consulting and private equity, venture capital and hedge fund.

While the second cluster of IIM Ahmedabad included Consumer Goods and Services, General Management, Niche Consulting, Pharmaceuticals and Technology. Airtel, Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), ITC, Nestlé, P&G, Reckitt Benckiser and Samsung emerged as the top recruiters in Consumer Goods and Services and Technology.   The other top recruiters include  Advisory & Auditory Consulting, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, Edutech, Internet & E-commerce, Infrastructure & Core Manufacturing, Food & Dairy and Enterprise Tech. EXL extended the highest number of offers in the technology cluster, with a total of six offers.

The other recruiters include PwC in the Advisory & Auditory Consulting cohort. American Express, RBL, FinIQ and Fullerton were some of the recruiters in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance recruiters. Mayank Kamboj, the Recruitment Secretary of the PGP-ABM Programme said ‘We are thrilled with the plethora of opportunities that were available to the candidates with a balanced participation from all sectors.
