Suspected #ISI terrorist holed up in #Lucknow’s Thakurganj, anti-terror operation underway

Lucknow, Mar 7: A suspected terrorist, linked to Pakistan’s spy group Interstate Intelligence Services (ISI), is reportedly holed up in Lucknow’s Thakurganj locality. The team of Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) is leading the operation. According to reports, the firing is currently underway. There could be a possibility of more than 1 terrorist being holed up, reporter India Today.

Thakurganj is a highly populous civilian locality in Lucknow. The police reportedly had intelligence input, confirming the presence of the ISI terrorist in the region. However, the police team which reached to arrest him was retaliated with strong gunfire by the suspected terrorist. The firing was underway, when the report was first published. The gunfire reportedly began at 4:10 PM. More details are awaited.
