Independent candidate Captain Vikas Gupta talks about Jobs, better security, infrastructure

Captain Vikas Gupta, an independent candidate for Noida assembly seat said that development should be in the name of security, law and order, creation of new jobs.

He said that the issues of corruption free Noida and providing uninterrupted power supply and water are crucial issues in this election.

“I have attended gatherings in urban areas where people want better traffic management, safety and better civic facilities,” said Captain Vikas Gupta while talking with the Tennews in an exclusive interview here in Noida.

The DND flyway toll free issue where the independent candidate has played an important role.

“I have played an important role in making toll free DND flyway is the main election manifesto of mine,” said the candidate who was earlier linked with BJP from several years.

He also alleged that candidates from the BSP and SP, who are fighting from Noida, have cases of sexual assault lodged against them, which they have not disclosed in their election affidavit. While Ravikant Mishra is fighting for the BSP, SP has fielded Sunil Choudhary for the seat.
The Noida authority which has become a puppet into the hands of high profile people and the poor people are being harassed every now and then.

“The present government has failed in every corner whether it would be on the issues of water, electricity or law and order situation,” said Gupta who has attended meeting with Amit Shah day before yesterday.

Talking about the master plan for Noida has never been stationed and the people who are at the helm of affairs are playing tricks to exploit the common people of Noida.

“The present government has made the Noida ‘a residential town’ where huge buildings and corporate offices have changed the minds of people with less employment opportunities,” said Vikas who was one of the five ticket hopefuls from the BJP for the Noida assembly seat.

The Gautam Budh Nagar district has three assembly constituencies Noida, Dadri and Jewar, which will go to polls on February 11. Results will be out on March 11.
