India pays final tribute to Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley

New Delhi(25/08/2019): Arun Jaitley started his political career in a very young age. He was a renowned BJP leader and former Finance Minister. He died at the age of 66, on Saturday, due to a prolonged illness, today he was cremated with full state honors in the National Capital.



The history of this key strategist and one of the tallest personalities in Bhartiya Janta Party is unique and motivating in its own way! Getting imprisoned as a young law student is unimaginable in our generation but Arun Jaitley spent more than an year of his life in prison where he invested his time in productive activities like cooking and physical exercises, yoga etc. In his free time, he used to discuss nation’s developmental strategies with seniors like KR Malkani.

Making a smooth transition from Atal-Advani era, Jaitley was perhaps a stalwart of Bhartiya Janta Party! Whether it was GST or Demonetization, Jaitley was always the key strategist of nation’s biggest financial steps in Modi era.

Various leaders including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and other top BJP and Congress leaders condoled Arun Jaitley’s demise.

BJP lost many important party leaders this year. First Manohar Parrikar, Former CM, Goa on March 17th, then Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on August 6th and then Arun Jaitley on August 24th.

In an exclusive interaction with some of the BJP workers who knew Arun Jaitley personally. According to them, he was a pure and honest person.

“Jaitley ji was always very polite and supportive to every person who tried to get in touch with him”, said a BJP worker. ” Arun Jaitley’s absence will surely affect the work processes of party and he will always be remembered as a gentleman “,another worker added.

Home minister Amit Shah tweeted that he will truly miss Arun Jaitley. He also tweeted photos of him paying last respects to the former finance minister.

Hundreds of people payed their last tributes to the Former FM when his funeral procession was on its way to Nigam Bodh, where he was cremated with full state honours.
Senior leaders from BJP, Congress and other parties like AAP and Samajwadi Party also attended the funeral ceremony of Former Finance Minister.

Politicians shared their feelings and paid their last respects to Arun Jaitley at the party head office.
Chief Ministers from almost every state gathered at the headquarters and attended the funeral procession of Arun Jaitley.
