New Delhi, 03rd July 2023: The Indian government has asked the Canadian government to intervene immediately against so-called Khalistan radicals who plan to march to Indian embassies in Toronto and Vancouver.

This comes as the agencies attempted to blame Indian diplomatic and security services for the death of designated terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. On June 19, the 45-year-old Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) head was assassinated in inter-gang combat in Vancouver’s Sikh-dominated Surrey district. Nijjar had ties to the illegal organisation SFJ, a designated terrorist lead based in the United States.

Due to the long weekend holiday in Canada, the Indian High Commission is set to protest against the Justin Trudeau government on Monday, requesting that the Federal Government take action against Khalistan fanatics who have named and threatened Indian diplomats.

While posters for a protest march in Toronto on July 8 include images of Indian High Commissioner Saurav Kumar Sharma and Counsellor Apurva Srivastava, posters for a concurrent gathering in Vancouver include photos of High Commissioner and Consul General Vancouver Manish.
