India Sourcing Conclave 2023 Wraps Up, Leaving Exporters Inspired and Equipped for Success

Greater Noida (16/07/2023): The India Sourcing Conclave 2023, organized by the Buying Agents Association (BAA), kicked off on Friday with the objective of fostering collaboration and strengthening business relationships between buyers and suppliers. The event also aimed to shed light on the various aspects of sourcing and manufacturing in India, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities for industry professionals over the course of two days.

Vishal Dhingra, Chairman of BAA, expressed gratitude to the exporter community for their trust in the Sourcing Consultants Association and for showcasing their booths at the conclave. Dhingra emphasized the association’s commitment to engage with every member, personally visiting each booth to meet vendors, understand their products, and acknowledge sponsors from diverse backgrounds, including shipping and testing labs. The conclave focused on imparting knowledge sessions on ESG (environment, sustainability, and governance) practices that the export community will need to adopt by 2025 to align with new European norms. Dhingra expressed appreciation for all the exporters who participated and presented their products during the two-day event.

Reflecting on the experience, Dhingra described the conclave as a valuable learning curve, enabling the organizers to understand the needs of the export community and gather new ideas to better serve them. The knowledge sessions served as the foundation for future conclave concepts and will guide the planning process for upcoming events. Dhingra mentioned the importance of bringing in overseas principals and clients to contribute their expertise on design and sustainability, which are crucial elements for the continued growth of the business.
