New Delhi (13/05/2023): Army officials confirmed that there was a failed attempt by a group of terrorists to infiltrate along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri.
Sources further add that the Army’s Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) has been injured in the exchange of firing. The attempt is being speculated to be a part of the plan to disrupt the ongoing G20 summit.
‘A quadcopter flown bythe Pakistan army to aid the terrorists was also spotted across the Line of Control. The quadcopter was withdrawn after the soldiers of the Indian Army fired at it,’ said the Army spokesperson.
