Indian States highlight unexplored destinations to woo tourists at GES Delhi

Global Exhibition on Services, Delhi is seeing enthusiastic participation from seven states of India who are exhibiting in Tourism pavilion of ongoing exhibition
Beautifully decorated pavilions of Gujarat and Manipur especially stand-out between a series of private and government tourism industry stalls.
State of Gujarat is offering different routes and itineraries which seem to be tailor made for tourists of varied interests. Based on theme of Unique experience for each one and Khusboo Gujarat ki the state is selling itineraries such as “Devotion to emotion’, ‘ Versatile Vadodra’, ‘Gandhi Circuit’ etc.
Uttarkhand on the other hand has adopted the theme of ‘Simply Heaven’ and is focusing on its major tourist destinations such as Auli, Mussorie, Haridwar, Nainital as well as the famous Chardham Yatra.
Rajasthan projecting itself as the incredible state of India is focusing on Royalty, Culture, Wildness through different 3 day, 5 day and 7 day tours.
Maharashtra has come up with unlimited theme and is offering unheard, non-touristy yet beautiful destinations to woo clientage that might be looking for peaceful holidays. Khekranala, Koyna Nagar, Tarkarli are some of the highlighted tourist destination at this state. It is also offering Ashtavinayaka tour for religious tourists.
Famous as heaven on earth, Jammu and Kashmir is trying to shed-off it’s controversial image and has come-up at the state with the theme of ‘see J&K in New light’s. It is promoting mystical beauty of Ladkah as well as showcasing Kargil as a slice of beauty.
Manipur Tourism has also upped the ante with its thriving presence at the exhibition. It is promoting it’s scenic hill stations, waterfalls, lakes and valleys. It is also stressing on state being a cultural and shopping destination for interested tourists.
From down south Tamil Nadu has come-up as a traditional, spiritual destination that has its fair share of tourist destination such as Kodaikanal. Srirangam, Madurai and Rameshwaram are some of the prominently highlighted destinations of this state.
