New Delhi (13/10/2022): The Union Minister for petroleum and gas, Hardeep Singh Puri on his recent visit to United States co-chaired the US- India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership ministerial.

Wrapping his visit, he spoke about the bilateral relationship and the larger geopolitics of energy.

The main takeaway on the partnership was on clean energy, which was initiated by the head of nations of both countries in 2021.

Reviewing 5 areas, it has been decided to upgrade the green corridor to India- US green corridor to deal with the issues of clean energy, specifically green hydrogen.

In Puri’s interaction with the CEOs of other major energy entities, it was clear that many of them were looking at India.

With these developments, there will be a lot of transitions. There will be fuel inflations, there will be recessionary trends and other changes too. The suspense lies in whether this will play out or not and what actions will follow.
