Inner Wheel Club celebrates children’s day with underprivileged, specially-abled children

New Delhi, 15 November 2022: Inner Wheel Club of Noida City on Monday celebrated Children’s Day with HIV Positive/AIDS Orphan Children of Desire Society in Noida.

Inner Wheel, an International Female Voluntary Organisation working for the upliftment of Underprivileged and Differently Abled Children, Females and Senior Citizens. Various projects were done under the District 301 committees of the Inner Wheel District.

The IW sports Committee organised various games and wristwatches as prizes were awarded to the Winners. Consolations Prizes too were given to each and every child. Children were happy to find IW Members amongst them and participated in all games wholeheartedly.

While the IW environment committee distributed branded biodegradable toothbrushes made of Bamboo Handles and Charcoal Blisters, which are non-hazardous to the environment, amongst Children. After use, these can be thrown into the soil and after some time, converted into fertilizer. Also, these are an alternative to plastic, cloth bags with Inner Wheel logos were given to the Staff of Desire Society.

Under the health committee, the Inner Wheel also distributed rainbow bubble popper fidget sensory toys which work as a stress reliever and anxiety releaser.

IWC Club President Manju Sud and Secretary Jyoti Srivastava, Indramani Sharma and Geeta Rastogi, among others, were present.
