Greater Noida, September 20-21, 2024 – Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with IEEE UP Section, successfully organized the International Conference on Communication, Computing, and Energy Efficiency Technologies (I3CET). The event received approximately 1,200 research paper submissions from research institutions and industry experts worldwide, and to ensure maximum participation, it was held in a hybrid format.

The key guests included Prof. (Dr.) S.N. Singh, Director of ABV-IIITM Gwalior, Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar Singh of IIIT Allahabad, and Prof. (Dr.) Asish Kumar Singh of MNNIT Allahabad. In his inaugural address, Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali, Director of Galgotias College, emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in tackling future challenges. He announced the selection of 300 research papers across ten tracks focusing on various topics related to communication and energy efficiency.

In his opening speech, Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali highlighted the importance of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in the rapidly evolving fields of communication, computing, and energy efficiency. He underlined the role of the conference in driving technological progress and stressed preparing students for future challenges.

Dr. Bali also expressed pride in the college’s mission of academic excellence, highlighting the overwhelming response received for the research papers: “This year, I3CET received nearly 1,200 submissions, and after a rigorous double-blind review process, 300 papers were selected.” These tracks cover various topics, from advancements in communication technologies to energy-efficient solutions, with 200 offline and 100 online sessions scheduled.

Prof. (Dr.) S.N. Singh discussed the ethical implications of artificial intelligence (AI), while Prof. Satish Kumar Singh encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in optimizing energy consumption. The conference provided a platform for experts to share their thoughts and network, with participants from countries like the USA, UAE, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia.

Presenting the conference report, Dr. R.L. Yadav mentioned the 1,200 submissions and 300 selected papers, along with 200 offline and 100 online sessions. He expressed gratitude for the support from the organizing committee, volunteers, and sponsors.

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the university, expressed his delight at the successful organization of the International Conference on “Communication, Computing, and Energy Efficiency Technologies” (I3CET) by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on September 20-21, 2024.
