International Hospitality Expo 2018 Begins at India Expo Mart Greater Noida, Over 200 exhibitors participate

A four day mega fair of Hospitality, Retail, Banking and housekeeping had started today at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The fair was inaugurated by Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister of Food and Processing Industry, who was also the chief guest for the event. She was welcomed with a bouquet and the event started with traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Amit Burman Vice President Dabar India Ltd was the guest of honor.

Over 200 exhibitors and about 8,000 buyers are expected to participate in this show which is being presented as the first and largest sourcing hub for hospitality industry in the country. The four day mega event will also have an interactive session with Union Minister Suresh Prabhu and a mega fashion show curated by Sunil Sethi .

During her address Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said “I am Glad to know that for promoting India’s hospitality sector, such a grand event is being organized. The way our middle class society is raising the hospitality sector will play a pivotal role in transforming people’s life and will surely attract rest of the world to our country. When it comes to our hospitality sector it is unparalleled to any other country in terms of the way we treat our guest. We have finest hotels, restaurants, different culture, cuisine, weather and every state of ours in like mini India. As our hospitality sector has lots of untapped potential hence we want to attract atleast 1% of global tourists to India by 2020 and doubling the number by 2025.”

During the welcome address Rakesh Kumar Chairman India Expo Mart said “I take this opportunity to welcome experts of Hospitality, Retail, Banking and housekeeping segment under one roof. We are sure that this expo will play an important role in transforming the hospitality sector of India”

He also shared the future plans of associating with the two initiatives Nanhi Chaown and Sanjh run by NGO of the Union Minister. The initiative Nanhi Chaon stands for preventing female foeticide and women empowerment in rural areas. While under Sanjh hundreds of Textile training center were opened and training of traditional embroidery was given.
