Internet sensation Ranu Mondal records a song with Himesh!
New Delhi: Internet sensation Ranu Mondal recently made her Bollywood debut by recording a song in Himesh Reshammiya’s upcoming film, Happy Hardy and Heer.
There have been many such examples where social media has played a vital role in connecting the talented people and getting them the right platform. Becoming a viral sensation is something which we have noticed on social media pages many times. Ranu Mondal being such an example has finally got her due. She was noticed at Ranaghat station in West Bengal where she made her living by singing for daily commuters. Her melodious voice grabbed the attention of one such commuter who decided to record and post her singing video on the Internet. It was because of her talented voice that the video became viral instantly.
Here is the viral video in which she can be seen crooning famous singer Lata Mangeshkar’s popular track ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai from 1972’s film Shor.
After watching the video, the ace musician-actor Himesh Reshammiya decided to give her a break in the Bollywood by recording her voice for his film. He took to his Instagram handle and shared a video where she is recording her first song. Himesh wrote, “Recorded teri meri kahani my new song from happy hardy and heer with the very talented Ranu Mondal who has a divine voice , all your our dreams can come true if we have the courage to peruse them, a positive attitude can really make dreams come true, thanks for all your love and support”
