IPAMA unfolds the Road map of 14th Edition of PRINTPACK INDIA

Greater Noida, 25th August 2017: “The Indian Graphic Arts Industry has gained a momentum post conclude of 13th edition of PRINTPACK INDIA with a confirmed business of over USD 290 million and trade inquiries USD 510 million generated at the PRINTPACK INDIA 2017, the entire industry seems in acceleration mode and ready to compete with expos like Drupa in Germany. The industry has a huge potential to grow, as there is big gap in export and import figures. Our focus is to give an ideal platform to the manufacturers so that they can perform better” disclosed Mr. S. Dayaker Reddy, President, IPAMA during the curtain raiser of 14th Edition of “PRINTPACK INDIA”.

Apart from functioning as a dependable data bank and centre for dissemination of information on latest market perspectives, technology and equipment, the Association acts as a big Show Window. For projecting a vibrant BRAND INDIA IMAGE, from time to time, it holds National and International exhibitions.

IPAMA organizes PRINTPACK INDIA, this is a biannual event happens mostly in the month of February. The exhibitors of PPI know very well that their products will be checked and evaluated by potential customers. Serious visitors to PPI come as a rule with concrete problems in their minds and precise expectations. It is for this reason PPI has established itself as a launching pad for new technologies and services.

The 14th edition of its biennial flagship show PRINTPACK INDIA 2019 is scheduled to be held from February 1 – 6, 2019 again at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi. Size of Printing & Packaging Industry : The market size of Printing & Packaging Machinery Industry is around Rs 23,931 Cr (Data 2015-16). Total turnover in 2015-16 was Rs.16,916/-. However, there is a huge gap in export and import, it is almost 1 : 5. Imports are growing at a very high rate as compared to the increase in domestic production rate. But, if we take the entire Printing Industry and Consumables it is pegged at approximately 1,90,000- Crore. India is the 5th largest Print Packaging market with revenues of  US$12.2 bn (As per the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) study). By 2020, revenues will reach $18.6bn, just below Japan, the 3rd largest market with $19.1bn in print packaging revenues.
