ITS Engineering College hosts workshop on “Introduction to Cyber Security & Cyber Security Essentials”
Greater Noida, Thursday 5th January, 2023: CSE department of I.T.S Engineering College organized a two days Workshop on “Introduction to Cyber Security & Cyber Security Essentials” by Kartik Bhardwaj & Mayank Jagota under CSI student branch.
The opening of program on 1st day of workshop was made by welcoming Kartik Bhardwaj by Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida followed by a brief introductory speech about Kartik Bhardwaj by Tarun Kumar Chugh, Assistant Professor of CSE department. He told that Kartik Bhardwaj is a master trainer at NIIT Foundation and has more than 8 years of experience.
The talk was initiated by the expert Kartik Bhardwaj briefing about CISCO Networking Academy followed by detailed discussion about basic concepts of Cyber Security and various types of attacks & malwares including phishing, virus, worm, Trojan horse etc. Kartik Bhardwaj elaborated on Various IT and Non IT Skills students should possess to get Jobs in Cyber Security Domain. He told students about various latest Courses available in Cyber Security and emphasized on the need of learning various recent tools according to need of industry.
The opening of program on 2nd day of workshop was made by welcoming Mayank Jagota by Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida followed by a brief introductory speech about Mayank Jagota by Tarun Kumar Chugh, Assistant Professor of CSE department He told that Mayank Jagota is CCNA certified cyber Security and networking expert trainer in NIIT Foundation and has more than 5 years of training experience. The expert started his talk with a discussion of underlying principles of hacking and different symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic techniques & protocols like DES, AES, RSA, Diffie Hellman, ElGamal, ECC, IPSec, SSL, SSH, PGP, used to secure system and prevent hacking. Finally, he gave a practical demonstration of hacking using Kali Linux.
The students of 2nd year of CSED of I.T.S Engineering College attended the workshop.
Finally, Tarun Kumar Chugh, Assistant Professor of CSE department, I.T.S Engineering College gave a Vote of Thanks Speech.
