New Delhi (18/02/2020): Another video of the alleged police brutality in Jamia Milia Islamia surfaced on Monday.
At the same time, the police say that after analyzing all the clips on social media, it is trying to prepare a real link to the incident. In a new video, the police have been seen lathing on such students who are trying to escape from there. The female students can be seen leaving from there and pleading in front of the police. A policeman was also seen breaking the camera. However, the police said that it would not be right to declare anyone innocent without proper investigation.
Two months after the December 15 violence on campus, three more videos were revealed.
In a video, paramilitary personnel and police personnel were seen beating the students in the library. Some youth were seen wearing a mask in two other videos which came out after some time. Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Praveer Ranjan said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the violence of December 15 is analyzing all the video clips to link all the episodes of that day’s incident till what happened yesterday.
