John brings back Yamaha’s popular YZF-R3 with dual channel ABS

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. today introduced the popular sports model YZF-R3 at the Auto Expo 2018 in the presence of Bollywood star and Yamaha’s brand ambassador John Abraham.
The new YZF-R3 is enabled with dual channel Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) Technology and high grip Metzler radial tyres. The motorcycle will be priced at Rs. 348,000 and will be available at select authorized Yamaha dealerships.
The model is currently being launched at Racing Blue and Magma Black. YZF-R3 was winner of ‘Indian Motorcycle Of The Year” awards in 2016 and will be retaining its original features such as twin cylinder model and Anti Lock Braking System.
The 321 cc R3 will be equipped with liquid cooled, 4-stroke in-line 2-cylinder, fuel injected engine for smooth power delivery and driving pleasure.
At launch Yamaha Motor India Chairman Motofumi Shitra said, “The success and popularity gained by the YZF-R3 in India is a major achievement by the company”.
John said, “It is always a pleasure to own a Yamaha. Yamaha YZF R3 is one of my favorites and it is great to drive this super motor bike”.
