JRE Greater Noida shuts down after troubled history, AKTU completes students transfer counselling in Lucknow!

JRE Greater Noida students have finally got a sigh a relief after AKTU arranged for their special counselling and ensured their transfer to other well-established, running colleges of the technical university.

JRE Institutions Greater Noida has been going through a troubled times since quite some time and is now going to shut down.

The students who were in third and fourth year of their B.Tech studies in this college were a worried lot because of this unforeseen turn of events. However after intervention of AKTU and AICTE, the matter has been resolved in best benefit of the students.

AKTU VC played a vital role in ensuring that no injustice is meted out to the students and met with the students and their parents at JRE campus, Greater Noida few days back.

Based on the feedback it was decided that all students will be transferred to other colleges and would be allowed to continue their studies in a normal environment.

With prior notice issued to students, the counselling was conducted in AKTU campus Lucknow. All the students of the JRE took part in the counselling and the procedure for allotment of other college was done as per university guidelines.

Talking about the same AKTU VC Dr. Vinay Pathak informed Ten News on phone from Lucknow that 100% students from JRE Greater Noida took part in counselling in Lucknow.

He said, “Counselling has been done on merit in order of scores secured by students so far in their academic performances. The students have been advised to join their respective colleges immediately. Colleges have also been instructed to conduct extra classes for these students so that they can cover any loss of studies”.
