New Delhi (India), 19th April 2023: Upon the suggestion of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee at a meeting on April 18, the Board of Directors of Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) accepted the reappointment of Abhyuday Jindal as the company’s managing director for a term of five years with effect from May 1, 2023.
The business noted that according to any order of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or another similar entity, Abhyuday Jindal will not be prevented from holding the office of “director”.
The company further said, “Having gained a deep understanding of the industrial manufacturing arena, Mr Jindal entered the Jindal Stainless COnSOrtia. Driven by the ambition to go beyond the ordinary, Mr. Jindal took multiple strides in improving supply chain and operational efficiencies.”
They also said that it was under his direction, that the business strengthened its distinct competitive edge in the production of specialty stainless steel grades for the nuclear and defence sectors.
Abhyuday Jindal, the son of Ratan Jindal, the company’s chairman and managing director, has a degree in economics and business management from Boston University and has extensive experience in supply chain management, the company stated in an exchange filing.
