New Delhi, 18 September 2022: At AAP’s inaugural national convention on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal intensified his attacks on BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a gathering of over 1,500 elected AAP delegates from about 20 states, including Punjab, Goa, and Haryana, he stated, “like lord Krishna was sent to end evil, god has sent AAP to end corruption, inflation, unemployment and save the constitution and country from evils.”

“I never imagined that the Indira Gandhi stadium would be filled with so many representatives when the Aam Aadmi Party was founded ten years ago. To put an end to wickedness, like Lord Krishna was born, God has sent AAP to fight the evil,” he said.

Talking about his opposition, he also stated that on November 25, 1949, India ratified the Constitution, and during the following 60 years, these individuals systematically destroyed the nation. “Later, God had to step in and save the situation, and in 2012 AAP was created to do so. There is no chance occurrence here. Each of you must uphold the duty that God has placed on you and work to further development,” he asserted.

At the convention, Arvind Kejriwal also clarified on Amanatullah Khan’s arrest, he also charged BJP with starting “Operation Lotus” phase II. Their phase I in Punjab and Delhi was a failure. As a result, Amanatullah Khan has been detained in a fabricated case. The BJP has once more started calling many of our MLAs with offers of Rs 25 crore. They are being threatened with arrest just like Amanatullah Khan if they do not join the BJP.”

“I have not seen India’s fight for freedom but how our MLAs are fighting the opposition, rejecting offers of Rs 25-25 crores, facing CBI ED, it is not a small thing. They want to put all of them in jail. You all should be ready to go to jail for 3-4 months. They won’t be able to do anything, jail is not that bad, we stayed there in jail for 15 days. If everyone become brave and courageous then no one will be able to do bad to us. We are battling corruption, inflation, and unemployment like Lord Krishna. However, we are engaged in a war against inflation and corruption. Because of this, people favor us,” he stated.

He further said that people like the AAP because of its honest politics and honesty and that is what the opposition (BJP) cannot bear. “They can’t bear our honesty. There are some things about AAP that they can’t bear — education, healthcare facilities and schemes which they call ‘revdi’. Their leaders have never spoken about education and healthcare facilities.”

The chief minister also addressed the way in which senior party leaders of the Delhi government were allegedly being targeted and said that Satyendra Jain would have received recognition for the work he did in the health and electricity sectors if he had been in any other nation. “He established hospitals, free electricity, and mohalla clinics. The Bharat Ratna ought to be awarded to him. Manish Sisodia was the target when they failed to present any evidence against Jain in court, but they were unable to do so,” he said.

‘They interrogated his villagers and searched his home and bank locker. They only discovered a toy that he had purchased for his son when he was a youngster. They are currently pursuing Kailash Gahlot. No matter what, we have to work for our nation and make India the best, so don’t be afraid of going to jail,” he said.

Taking on the BJP and PM Modi, he stated that the party has almost spent Rs 8–9 thousand crore in purchasing MLAs, and when they stand on the Red Fort’s ramparts, they declare, “I am battling corruption. He is engaged in a conflict with the AAP, not corruption.”

He concluded by stating that their main goal is to make India the best country in the world, and to accomplish this, we must focus on four areas: education, health, employment, granting women and girls equal opportunities, building world-class infrastructure, and providing resources for farmers.

“When 75 years ago, Indians were united to expel the British. Similarly, to make our nation the best in the world, we must all work together now. Join us in spreading the missed call number across the city and nation to make India the top country. Currently, there are about 1,446 of us serving in 20 states and union territories. MLAs, MPs, zila panchayat members, etc. are included,” Kejriwal continued.
