New Delhi: BMW Group India today launched its all-new BMW S 1000 RR in India. The all-new BMW S 1000 RR is fitted with a completely newly developed 4-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 999 cc. The engine is now 4 kgs lighter and narrower.
For everybody surprise ‘Kabir Singh’ actor Shahid Kapoor was also be present at the press conference of BMW S 1000 RR India launch the press conference.
First showcased at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show, the new S 1000 RR is an all-new model ground up and in its third generation. The new S 1000 RR gets new body work and a new engine as well.
The styling is now sharper than before thanks to new panels but the superbike loses its trademark asymmetrical headlamps which became kind of iconic since the S 1000 RR was first launched in 2009. Instead, it now gets LED projector headlamps which look good but do not quite have the manic appeal of the older model.
The all-new BMW S 1000 RR is available in two color options. The all-new BMW S 1000 RR comes with athletic and focused design like razor-sharp flyline, low-level front section, the number plate holder includes plate lighting, LED turn signals, tail lights and brake lights.
The all-new RR is fitted with ABS Pro (Anti-lock Braking System), DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) and DTC Wheelie Function as standard.
