KEJRIWAL’S FALSE CONCERN FOR DRUG ISSUE IN PUNJAB IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED GOVT. IGNORANT TOWARDS ILLEGAL DRUG & LIQUOR SALES IN DELHI
New Delhi, 18th June. Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s talk on drugs & liquor is as false as his talks on morality & high standards in polity which we saw till he won 2015 Delhi Assembly elections.
Shri Upadhyay has said that Kejriwal has tarnished the image of Punjab & Punjabiyat as drug land but in his own ruled Delhi illegal drug peddling, hookah bars & mushrooming liquor shops chains is at all time high.
The performance of Kejriwal’s Dy. C.M. Manish Sisodia’s headed Excise Dept. in curbing illegal rave parties or liquor chains are pathetic.
Kejriwal Mandli when performing its electoral skits in Punjab claims that if voted they will curb drug menace but in Delhi where Kejriwal is in power his Culture Minister talks of giving Delhi youth a free night life. Posh colony markets like Defence Colony, Greater Kailash, Amar Colony, Vasant Vihar, Rajouri Garden & many Malls are flooded with shops promoting Hookah Culture which is a major drug use source. There are news reports of growing rave culture in Delhi and private hotels promoting illegal liquor shops especially in East Delhi.
Shri Upadhyay has said it is sad that shameless Aam Aadmi Party is humiliating & tarnishing the image of Punjab’s youth as drug addicts for petty political growth ignoring the fact that Punjabi Youth contribute the most to India’s defence & agriculture. It is an established truth that in every national calamity youth of Punjab has stood up above others.
Shri Upadhyay has said that Delhi Government’s excise department has totally failed to check the growth of rave, hookah & liquor culture amongst the youth. Soon a delegation of Delhi BJP will call upon Delhi Police Commissioner to ensure arrangements for stricter check to prevent growth of drug & liquor influence amongst the youth.
