Delhi, August 17th, 2022: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced the launch of ‘Make India No.1’ mission to make the country “number one” by focusing on education, healthcare, employment, and peace for everyone.

He urged all the citizens and political parties to join him in this mission. Addressing a gathering in Delhi, the AAP leader said that the country has achieved a lot since its independence but it is still lagging behind several nations.

“India gained a lot but there’s anger, a question among people that several small nations who attained independence after us, surpassed us…Why did India lag behind? Every citizen is asking this,” the Delhi chief minister said.

He further announced that providing free education and healthcare for citizens, job opportunities for both men and women, and fair prices to farmers for their produce would be the main motives of this mission.

Sharing details of this mission, Kejriwal said that this mission is apolitical in nature and does not belong to any particular party.
“This is a mission for the country and hence I urge BJP, Congress, and all other parties to join this initiative to make India the number one country in the world”, he said.

The announcement comes ahead of the assembly elections in Gujarat where the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to make major inroads.
